South American Section of W.j.c. Holds Three-day Conference

Every aspect of Jewish religious, educational, social, economic and political life in Latin America was discussed by delegates from seven countries who attended the 12th plenary session here of the South American executive of the World Jewish Congress. The three-day session was concluded today.

Among the principal reports and addresses were those presented by Dr. Moises Goldman, of Buenos Aires, chairman of the South American executive; Uruguayan Senator Aarao Steinbruch; Dr. Isaac Goldenberg, president of DAIA, central body of organized Argentinian Jewry; Prof. Enrique Testa, vice-president of the Chilean Representative Jewish Committee; Tobias Kamenszain, newly-elected president of the Buenos Aires Jewish Community; Jose Sasson, president of the Uruguayan Central Jewish Committee; and Mark Turkow, secretary of the South American executive of the WJC.

Other countries represented here, in addition to the lands from which the major speakers came, were Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay and Venezuela.
