Instructions that Chaluzim, Palestine pioneers, be charged the minimum rate for passports, 55 roubles, were isssued to immigration officials, according to information received by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency correspondent here. This minimum rate is the same as allowed to workers’ union members.
Chaluzim who have been banished in exile are being permitted to go to Palestine if they have sufficient funds to pay for the passport, it was declared. Several of the exiled Chaluzim are proceeding weekly from the country.
