The Soviet representative here, Leonard Krassin, according to the “London Post”, has filed a protest with the British government against the sale by the Russian Palestine Society of the charitable institutions, hospitals, hotels and other institutions, which it declares are the property of the Soviet government.
The note, which was filed with Lord Curzon, declares that the Russian society has transferred its headpuarters to Berlin and without any authority under the auspices of a group of monarchists is disposing of the property which rightly belongs to the existing Soviet government.
The Soviet note declares that while the Soviet government does not recognize the mandatory governments erected in Palestine and Syria by Britain and France it voices protest nevertheless against their countenancing the deeds of the Russian Palestine Society.
Similar notes were sent to France and Italy.
