Jewish sources in the Soviet Union reported yesterday that many Jewish families throughout the USSR held sedarim at home. Most sedarim were attended by friends and neighbors. Most read the Hagadah in the Russian version but there were quite a number who could read the Hebrew text and understand it, including young people, the sources reported.

The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced that some 60,000 tourists had come to Israel during the fortnight preceding Passover, 2000 more than last year.
