A Nazi propaganda booklet published in Erfurt today utilized the recent American recognition of the Soviet government to attack President Roosevelt and Premier Ramsay MacDonald of England.
Published for “Aryans abroad”, the pamphlet brands MacDonald and Roosevelt as “Freemasons of the highest grade” because they dared to carry on negotiations with the “Jewish Commissar Litvinoff.”
All statesmen who carry on negotiations with Jews or Freemasons are condemned in the pamphlet, which states that only Germany succeeded in freeing herself of these dangerous groups. The meeting between the President and the Russian Foreign Commissar is pictured as a conference of Freemasonry. The result, recognition of Soviet Russia, came as a surprise to the whole world, said the propaganda sheet.
