The Soviet authorities have agreed to release from arrest and to return to Lithuania two famous Polish Jewish personalities who were detained in Wilno during the Russian occupation and taken to Russia before cession of the districts to Lithuania. The men are Zalman Reizin, the noted writer and lexicographer and Joseph Czernichow, prominent attorney who formerly lived in Warsaw. Both, together with their sons, are being released as Lithuanian subjects.
