Jacob Suritz, Soviet Ambassador to Germany, today was transferred to the post of Ambassador to France, relieving Vladimir Potemkin, who has been recalled from Paris to serve as undersecretary for foreign affairs, the Havas News Agency reported.
The decision was taken by the presidium of the central executive committee. No announcement was made as to the successor of Suritz at Berlin.
