The anti-Passover and anti-Easter campaign officially opens tomorrow and will last a full two months. The executive of the Federation of Soviet labor unions today sent instructions to every union member to participate actively in the campaign.
Every union is obliged to see that its members join the League of the Godless and to increase the League’s membership by 100,000 during the anti-Passover and anti-Easter campaign, according to the instructions. From tomorrow until May 15 anti-religious lectures, meetings and theatre performances have been arranged in every cooperative, house, club and school.
The women will be taken on excursions to various places in order to show them how they can live better without religion. Moscow will have a tremendous anti-religious street demonstration on April 19 as well as a carnival. Similar plans are being made for the provinces.
