Speaking at a mock trial of Hitler at the Beth Sholom synagogue, South Fifth street and Marcy avenue, Brooklyn, last night, Judge Jacob S. Strahl emphasized that the economic boycott is the best weapon against Nazism.

Judge Strahl, who visited Germany last summer, spoke from personal experiences and observation. He said that the Jews are slaves in Germany, and are treated worse under Hitler than under Pharaoh. “The tortures suffered now are worse than in the Spanish inquisition,” he declared.

Judge Strahl presided at the trial. S, Niger, literary critic of The Day, was one of the main witnesses. Mr. Niger spoke on the importance of the German Jews in history.

Others appearing against Hitler were Rabbis S. Rabinowitz, under whose auspices the trial was conducted; Wolf Gold, president of the Mizrachi Organization; Rabbi N. H. Ebin, president of the Kashruth Association; Isaac Bunin, S. Baskin and Isaac Sadin.
