The extraordinary session of the Mandates Commission of the League of Nations will be held from June 3 to June 10 and will be immediately followed by the ordinary session. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns that copies of the Palestine Inquiry Commission’s report were circulated only last week among the members of the Mandates Commission.
While it was expected that an official declaration of the British government would accompany the report it is now thought that such a declaration will be made only after the report has been debated in the House of Commons. The ordinary session of the Mandates Commission will consider the annual report of the British government on the Palestine administration but so far the secretariat of the League of Nations has not received this report.
