Special “tent Village” Being Erected in Israel to Accommodate Maccabiah Contestants

A tent village to be known as “Kfar Maccabi,” which is currently being erected near here, will accommodate 600 foreign and 150 Israel athletes who will participate in the Maccabiah, scheduled to open in the Jewish state Oct. 8, it was announced today.

The village will have modern showers and a host of other equipment for use of the athletes. The Israel Supply Ministry will provide special food rations for the contestants, it was disclosed.
