Police today were guarding Vienna universities and colleges, both inside and out as a result of the anti-Semitic riots that broke out yesterday. At the same time the Ministry of Education announced that penal tribunals will be set up to deal with the rioters and with Nazi propaganda in particular. The sentences which will be imposed by these tribunals cannot be appealed.

No Jewish students were injured yesterday during the Nazi student riots yesterday because they succeeded in escaping before the Nazis barricaded the exits to the colleges. Previously these tactics had succeeded and the Jewish students, always in a minority, were confined to the college rooms and attacked by the Nazi students.
