Speech Clinic Director Says Foreign Talk Can Be Stopped

Most foreign dialects may be entirely eliminated by scientific ear, voice, tone and speech habit control, combined with a conscious effort, extra patience and sufficient length of time such as one gives to mastering the ability to play a musical instrument, says Victor M. Kleinfeld, director of the speech clinic of the College of the City of New York. Mr. Kleinfeld delivered a lecture on the “Organization of a Speech Clinic” at Columbia University Friday.
