A survey to determine whether it is beneficial to have joint participation of Jewish and Christian children in combined Chanukah and Christmas celebrations was initiated here by the Council of Human Relations.
The survey seeks to establish whether there is greater understanding and more friendly relations where there have been these joint programs, Russel Myers, executive director of the Council declared. The results of the survey are expected to command nationwide attention in view of the trend in recent years to combined celebration of these holidays in schools.
