Stanislaw Natansohn, well known Jewish philanthropist, died here today at the age of 72. Mr. Natansohn belonged to one of the most prominent Jewish families in Poland which for many decades exercised a strong influence on Jewish life. He was a vigorous opponent of Zionism and when Zionism became a dominant factor in the Polish Jewish community, Mr. Natansohn withdrew from Jewish activities and from the many institutions to which he had previously devoted himself.
A number of members of the Natansohn family have left the Jewish faith.
