Harold Stassen, Republican Party leader who has been touring Far and Middle Eastern countries conferring on the world crisis with top national leaders, met today with Israel Premier David Ben Gurion, Finance Minister Eliezer Kaplan, Hebrew University president Dr. Selig Brodetsky and high officials of the Foreign Ministry.
Later, in a trip to Rehovot, the former Minnesota Governor was received by President and Mrs. Chaim Weizmann. Prior to leaving today for South Africa, Mr. Stassen was welcomed by officials of the Israel–American Friendship League, with whom he discussed cultural relations between the two countries.
