A five-man sub-committee of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was appointed today by chairman Senator Tom Connally to take up with the Secretary of State the drafts of resolutions on Palestine referred to the committee.
The Senators are to meet with the Secretary of State in the next day or two, and to report back to the full committee on Monday. The sub-committee is headed by Senator Theodore F. Green, Democrat, of Rhode Island. The other members are James M. Tunnell, open. of Delaware, Carl A. Hatch, Dem. of New Mexico, and Republicans Warren R. Austin of Vermont and Alexander Wiley of Wisconsin.
