A farewell luncheon was tendered today to Israel’s Minister in Washington, Yaacov Herzog, on the eve of his departure from Washington to assume his post as Ambassador of Israel to Canada, by Undersecretary of State Loy W. Henderson at the Blair House, Presidential guest house.
Present were Israel Ambassador Avraham Harman; Robert Gray, Secretary to the Cabinet; Lewis Jones, Assistant Secretary of State for the Middle East and Asia; Franc is Wilcox, Assistant Secretary of State for United Nations Affairs; Hart Perry, acting director of the Development Loan Fund, and representatives from the International Cooperation Administration, the United States Information Agency and the Department of Agriculture.
