State Department spokesman Lincoln White reiterated categorically today that no arrangements are in process for invitations to either Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion of Israel or Egyptian President Gamal Abdul Nasser, to visit Washington.
Mr. White said: “Although the Department of State recognizes the mutual advantages derived from visits by chiefs of state or heads of government, no arrangements are in process for visits by either President Nasser or Prime Minister Ben-Gurion.”
