The first session of the party council of the Jewish State Party of America will be held today (Sunday) at the Central Jewish Institute, 125 East Eighty-fifth Street. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
The purpose of the gathering, as disclosed Friday, is to formulate the platform of the party for the elections to the nineteenth World Zionist Congress, which is to be convoked in Switzerland next August. A number of delegates from cities outside New York are expected.
Jacob de Haas is to deliver an address on “The Political Situation in Zionism,” while Prof. Chaim Tchernovitz will discuss “The Jewish State Party and the Nineteenth Zionist Congress.” Julius L. Fishbach will speak on “Jewish Youth Problems in America.”
