The State Senate today went on record as favoring the resolution introduced in the United States Senate by Senator Millard E. Tydings of Maryland deploring the Hitlerite treatment of the German Jews and asking President Roosevelt to use his good offices in ending the persecution in Germany.

Last night the State Senate unanimously passed a resolution introduced by Senator Samuel Mandelbaum of New York, asking Congress to pass the Tydings resolution.

A similar resolution was introduced in the State Assembly by Carl Pack, Bronx Democrat, but was laid aside to be read today.
