Milford Stern, local communal leader, was elected president of the Jewish Centers Association at a meeting of the board of directors of the Center Thursday evening. Mr. Stern succeeds Milton M. Alexander who declined to be a candidate for re-election. A resolution adopted by the board lauded Mr. Alexander and thanked him for his efforts in behalf of the Jewish youth during the past ten years.
Other officers elected with Mr. Stern are Harry Scheinman, vice-president; Joseph L. Selling, treasurer. Samuel Levine, executive director of the Centers, acts as secretary to the board.
