Criticism of Vice-President Peter Smidovitch for his order postponing Collectivization Day for the Jewish colonists because it co-in-cided with the Day of Atonement is still being voiced in Communist circles here. The Comzet, governmental department for Jewish land settlement, published a statement today disassociating itself from Smidovitch’s action. “The Comzet never ordered the postponement of Collectivization Day and opposes the postponement ordered by Smidovitch against the will of the Comzet and without its sanction.” the statement which is signed by M. Larin, declares.
