Dr. Joseph Stolz, rabbi emeritus of Temple Isaiah-Israel and dean of Reform rabbis, died Friday at the age of 79 after a long illness. He was a member of the American Jewish Committee and a former president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. He had retired from the pulpit in 1929.
