A LARGE OBELISK WAS ERECTED AT ONE OF THE PILLARS OF THE BRIDGE SURMOUNTED BY A BUST OF GUSTLOFF AND BEARING THE INSCRIPTION, “WILHELM GUSTLOFF, JAN. 30, 1895-FEB. 4, 1936; KILLED BY A JEW.”
