Julius Streicher, the Nazis’ leading exponent o anti-Semitism, is not concerned whom he hurts in his relentless persecution, so long as the Jews are affected. The Frankische Tageszeitung, one of his papers, has begun a campaign against “Aryan” lawyers who appear in court on behalf of Jewish clients. In this connection the paper is publishing the names of some of these offending “Aryans.”

The first to be pilloried in this way is an “Aryans” lawyers named Escher, of Fuerth, who has de-ended a Jew in the Law Court. This is not the first time Escher has appeared for Jews, the paper complains. The paper adds that “Escher is not a Jew, but it looks very suspicious.”
