The striking personal at the Jewish-sponsored Hawthorne Home for emotionally disturbed children returned to work today after a week-long strike.

The Home, an institution of the Jewish Beard of Guardians, has 200 children. The 35 employes walked out in protest against working conditions after their union voted to accept a new two-year contract with the Board of Guardians.
