Postal service in Israel was resumed today after striking mail porters agreed last night to return to work while their demands were discussed in normal channels. They walked off their jobs five days ago, causing a tremendous pile-up of mail.
Postal officials said they expected that all delayed mail would be delivered by Saturday night. Additional workers have been recruited to distribute the mail sacks.
