Stringent security measures are being taken at embassies of five countries — including the Embassy of Israel — after the Belgian government received information of a possible terrorist attack by the pro-Iranian group, Islamic Jihad. The decision to place police forces on massive alert followed the discovery, in Beirut, of 30 pages of documents detailing some 20 targets to be hit in Brussels.
