Student representatives from 30 countries are attending an international seminar which opened here today with a welcoming address by Education Minister Abba Eban.
The 40 delegates will discuss the role of the college student in developing countries and international cooperation between student organizations. The seminar is the first global gathering organized by the National Union of Israel Students.
Countries represented include Uganda, Ethiopia, Ghana, Tanganyika, Liberia, Nigeria, Burma, Ceylon, El Salvador, Norway, Sweden, Canada and others. The delegates will spend two weeks in Israel. Nine days will go for conference deliberations and the rest for tours of Israel.
