Jewish students from Hunter and Barnard colleges will be guests this afternoon at a Chanukah tea sponsored by the New York branch of the Women’s League of the United Synagogue of America at the Hotel Commodore.
Included among the speakers are Mrs. Sol M. Stroock, honorary chairman of the tea committee; Mrs. Israel Davidson, president of the league’s local branch; Mrs. Samuel Spiegel, president of the league; Mrs. Gabriel Hamburger, president of Ivriah, and Mrs. David De Sola Poole, president of the New York Chapter of Hadassah.
The kindling of Chanukah lights will be supervised by Rabbi Milton Steinberg. Moss Hart, coauthor of “Merrily We Roll Along,” and the Arion String Quartet will participate.
