Had there been a numerus clausus forty years ago, the principle of discriminating against Jews, we would not have today an Einstein or an Ehrlich, declared Bruno Frank, the German poet, in an address he delivered at a mass meeting called here to protest against the recent numerus clausus proganda inaugurated by the Hitlerite students.

The meeting was called by the socialist student group of the Munich University.
