Students Invade Bucharest National Theatre Protesting Against Jewish Stage Star

According to reports received here, anti-Semitic riots broke out in Bucharest Friday night. Students invaded the Bucharest National Theatre and interrupted the performance, as protest against a Jewish actress playing the leading part.

The French ambassador who attended the performance of the French play. “The Awakening of Love.” given at the National Theatre, demonstratively left the play-house in protest against the students’ rioting.
