Pointing out that the interests of all nations are involved in the locust peril which has recently attacked the Sinai Peninsula and Egypt, the “London Times,” today editorially today advocates an international investigation, “the costs of which will be more than counterbalanced by the benefits of organized preventive measures based on scientific observation.”
In the meantime it is reported from Jerusalem that while the mass attacks of the locusts on Egypt and Palestine appear for the moment to have been repulsed the danger of widespread devastation is not yet definitely removed.
