A bill aiming at compulsory Sunday observance by all storekeepers in England will be introduced in the House of Commons, according to a report of the “Manchester Guardian” today.
A similar law now exists, but it is not being enforced. In several cities 95 percent. of the stores are open on Sunday.
The new bill was submitted for criticism and approval to various religious and commercial organization.
