Support for Islamist groups among Palestinians is dropping, a new poll says. Support in the West Bank and Gaza Strip for Islamist groups, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, dropped from 32 percent to 24 percent since September 2003, according to the poll, which was a joint project of the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research and the Hebrew University’s Harry S Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace.
