The first Latin American conference of surviving victims of Nazism convened here today and adopted a number of resolutions including one to establish a Latin American Federation of Nazi Survivors. The convention also adopted a resolution rejecting any final German law on restitution or a statute of limitations on war crimes prosecutions. The delegates attending the convention from Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Venezuela and Argentina also voted to demand life pensions from Germany for all survivors without need of medical certification. The new organization also voted to adopt the Jerusalem Program as a symbolic reply to the world-wide anti-Israeli campaigns, and voted to affiliate with the World Federation of Jewish Survivors which is headquartered in Israel and to affiliate with the Latin American Jewish Congress. The gathering was organized by the Argentine Association of Survivors, whose president, Jose Moskovits, chaired the convention.
