The sum of $6,000,000 will be turned over by the Swedish Government to the International Refugee Organization to be used for the resettlement of Jews who suffered from Nazi persecution, it was announced here last night by the Preparatory Commission of the I.R.O. now in session here.
The funds will be put at the disposal of the Jewish Agency and the Joint Distribution Committee. They represent part of the German assets in Sweden which are to the transferred to the Allies as part of the reparations settlement.
