The office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees today announced that a Swedish selection mission is in Austria interviewing refugees for resettlement in Sweden. A quota of 1,000 refugees will be selected in 1956; of this number, 650 refugees were selected in May and many of them have already arrived in Sweden. The mission will remain in Austria for approximately three weeks.
