The Ex-Mufti of Jerusalem today landed on Swiss soil, near Berne, in a German military plane, together with members of his staff. Swiss authorities immediately ordered the plane back across the frontier.
Haj Amin E1-Husseine, who organized the 1936-39 revolt in Palestine, was reported last week attempting to find asylum in Yugoslavia. Early in April reports were current that he was attempting to reach safety at Mecca.
