Five members of the former National Front, Swiss Fascist party, today were sentenced to fines ranging between 20 and 400 francs, plus costs, for anti-Jewish defamation in distributing pamphlets containing false quotations from the Talmud.
The court denounced the “dishonorable intentions” of the defendants, who include a former pastor and a woman journalist. The action was brought by the Jewish communities of four cities.
