Swiss politics swung to the right in Sunday’s parliamentary elections, which resulted in a second-place finish for the anti-immigrant People’s Party. Swiss commentators are speculating that the head of the Zurich branch of the party, Christoph Blocher, may get a Cabinet seat. Swiss Jewish leaders have repeatedly spoken out against Blocher, who has made speeches before Parliament laced with anti-Semitic references.
