Switt action by the Jerusalem fire brigade put out a tire in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City Tuesday night. According to the fire department, a devotional candle fell on a wooden panel which ignited. The fire fighters extinguished the blaze before it could spread. The church, one of the holiest shrines of Christendom sustained only minor damage.
