A proposal to ban the Nazi organization headed by the slain Wilhelm Gustloff will come up before the next session of the Swiss Federal Council, it was disclosed today.
The council will move swiftly in deciding whether to permit continuation of the organization in order to be able to take action before Gustloff’s successor is nominated, it was learned.
Swiss newspapers today urged the Government to change its “tolerant attitude to the Nazis.”
