A survey to ascertain the training needs and functions of the present day rabbi is being conducted among 2,300 rabbis in communities throughout the United States, it was announced here today by the Synagogue Council of America. The information gathered from this study will be compiled in summary form and presented to Synagogue Council officials and to seminary heads, the announcement said.
