The synagogue in the township of Tiegenhoff, in the territory of the Free City of Danzig, was broken into on Friday night, The Ark of the Law was smashed, and much damage done to the interior, and Communist slogans were painted in red oil paint on the Ark and other parts of the synagogue.
The police are conducting an investigation into the affair.
