An anti-Semitic mob ran riot through the streets of Presov last night, burning a synagogue and severely beating up a number of Jewish residents.
Agitators incited the riot after reports spread through the town that six Jews were among 11 persons arrested for allegedly operating a clandestine radio station, which assertedly broadcast reports designed to “create panic” among the Slovak population.
