Numerous synagogues throughout the city will hold confirmation exercises for the boys and girls of their congregations this Sunday in connection with Shabuoth, the feast of Pentecost.
A class of thirty-six boys and girls will be confirmed by Rabbi Louis Newman at Temple Rodeph Sholom, 7 West Eighty-third street. A. special musical program has been arranged and will be directed by Cantor Nathan G. Meltzoff.

FOUR RABBIS AT FREE SYNAGOGUE
Four rabbis will participate in the confirmation services of the Free Synagogue, which will take place at Carnegie Hall, Fifty-seventh street and Seventh avenue. Twenty-eight young people are to be confirmed. Rabbi J. X. Cohen will deliver the invocation, Rabbi Sidney E. Goldstein will announce the awards and Rabbi Morton M. Berman will make the presentation address. Rabbi Stephen S. Wise will make the benediction and deliver a sermon on “Young Israel and the Undying Jew.”
