Representatives of Reform, Conservative and Orthodox religious bodies in New York, at a conference today in the Hotel Astor, pledged support of the United Palestine Appeal $4,500,000 campaign and decided to establish quotas in the drive for synagogues and congregations.
Synagogue heads and rabbis attended the parley. The speakers included Morris Rothenberg, a national chairman of the U.P.A., who presided, Rabbi Wolf Gold, of Palestine, president of the World Mizrachi Organization; Dr. Israel Goldstein, a chairman of the U.P.A.; Rabbi Jacob Levinson, Jacob A. Zabronsky, William Weiss and Louis J. Moss.
