The Jewish National Folk School of Syracuse at its eleventh annual exercises graduated the following four students: Mildred Resnick, Libbie Lapidus, Irving Franklin and Velvel Feldman. Yehuda Weinberg, principal, awarded the diplomas.
Rabbi Louis I. Newman of New York City, will speak on “The Outlook for Religion in the New America” at the New York State Fair here on Sunday, August 25. Clergymen of various denominations will be on the religious program that day and Rabbi Newman has accepted an invitation to appear as one of the representatives of Jewish thought and religion.
